about
an all-in-one health and wellness app designed to support people living with hiv by providing essential tools for medication management, viral load tracking, and community engagement. the app includes a medication reminder system, progress visualization through a unique bonsai growth concept, educational resources on hiv care, and a supportive community space where users can share experiences and encouragement. by integrating these features, the app empowers users to stay on top of their health while fostering a sense of connection and well-being.
challenge and result
i co-led the development of apical, a health management app designed to support individuals in tracking medication, monitoring viral loads, and accessing educational resources within a supportive community. as co-project manager, i coordinated workflows, facilitated team communication, and ensured alignment between design, development, and stakeholder expectations. in my role as frontend engineer, i implemented intuitive and responsive user interfaces, optimizing the app’s usability and performance. this project successfully delivered a seamless and engaging experience, empowering users to manage their health more effectively.
